The Origin of Hurricane Season
The beginning of hurricane season was quite a tradgedy all on its own. It began when Poseidon, the sea god, and Hecate, the goddess of magic, had a child like no other. Their little girl was extremely beautiful, powerful, and was christened with the name Calypso.
Calypso was an immortal with powers over the seven seas and the darkest magic. Her beauty was absolutely breathtaking; some say that her own mother had to of cast a spell on the girl at birth.
